Cuban-American music sensation Pitbull is a rapper known as Mr. 305 who plays around the globe and has also collaborated with some of music's biggest stars including Usher on "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love," Enrique Iglesias on "I Like It," Shakira on "Rabiosa," and Jennifer Lopez on "On The Floor." Known for his electrifying performances, Pit fuses his fierce rhymes, sizzling pop hooks and swaggering stage presence with the raw energy of a live band to create a spontaneous atmosphere. are pounding and the bass is thumping behind me," says Pitbull "nothing can touch me."

Pitbull's sixth studio album, "Planet Pit," features a host of pop music luminaries including Marc Anthony, Enrique Iglesias, Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown, T-Pain and Kelly Rowland as well as star-studded producers Dr. Luke, Max Martin, David Guetta and Benny Blanco. The knockout smash "Give Me Everything" featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer, marks Pitbull's first #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 and Pop charts and is also a top ten hit in 15 countries. Pitbull's latest single, "International Love" featuring Chris Brown, is already making its way up the charts. The album also features the Top Ten Billboard Hot 100 single, "Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor)," featuring T-Pain. The new album unites Pit's rapid-fire rhymes and billion-dollar beats with musical influences from around the world to create a one-of-a-kind sound. His experiences growing up in Miami combined with his recent global success influenced the album's rich mix of styles, says Pitbull, whose given name is Armando Christian Pérez. "It embodies a bit of everywhere I've been," he says referring to his recent globe-spanning tours. "I'm trying to be the ambassador; the bridge builder who brings elements from all over the world and puts it all together so it sounds like nothing you've ever heard before."

Even with the new album, Pitbull still found time to introduce Voli, his own line of premium, low-calorie vodka and a partnership with Sheets, the dissolvable energy strip. These entrepreneurial ventures are the latest for Pitbull, who has inked major sponsorship deals with blue-chip brands like Kodak, Dr Pepper and Bud Light.

Pitbull was a finalist for three Billboard Music Awards in 2011, including Top Latin Artist, Top Latin Song for "Bon Bon," and Top Radio Song for "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" (Usher featuring Pitbull).

A native of Florida, Pitbull was influenced by the Miami bass genre of hip hop music and began rapping in high school. After experimentation with several mixtapes and recording his own rap music, it wasn't long before Pitbull was featured on Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz' album Kings of Crunk in 2002. Pitbull's song "Oye" was featured on the soundtrack to the film "2 Fast 2 Furious" the following year. In 2004, Pitbull released his debut album "M.I.A.M.I.: Money Is A Major Issue" with the lead single being "Culo" produced by Lil Jon and the Diaz Brothers. It peaked at #32 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #11 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart. Other singles included "Dammit Man," "Back Up," "Toma," and "That's Nasty." The album spent 27 weeks on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart and was certified gold after it sold more than 500,000 copies. In 2005, he joined the Anger Management Tour with artists Eminem and 50 Cent. Over the years since he burst onto the music scene, Pitbull has collaborated with Pretty Ricky, the Ying Yang Twins, and Twista.

Pitbull's second album, "El Mariel," was released on October 31, 2006, and included singles "Bojangles," "Ay Chico (Lengua Afuera)," "Fuego," and "Dime (Remix)." El Mariel topped the Billboard independent albums chart and peaked at #17 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the rap chart. Pitbull's third album, "The Boatlift," was also successful featuring Trina and Lil John and made its way to Billboard Charts and Hot Rap Tracks. Pitbull's major label debut, Rebelution (Polo Grounds Music/J/RCA Music Group), debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and No. 10 on the digital album chart, making it Pitbull's highest U.S. debut to date. Recently in 2009, Pitbull won the first ever Latin Digital Download Artist of the Year award at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. Singles from the album have dominated the charts, with "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 3 at Rhythmic and achieving sales of more than 1.6 million digital singles.

"Rebelution" was released through Pitbull's Mr. 305 imprint via Polo Grounds Music/J/RCA Music Group. It boasts production from beatmakers Play N Skillz, Doctor Luke, Clinton Sparks and Grammy Award winning Jim Jonsin, plus guest appearances by Akon, B.O.B, Lil Jon and Slim of 112. The album showcases Pitbull's undeniable lyrical skills and stakes his claim as one of the game's best emcees.

In 2009, national television audiences were first introduced to the Pitbull "rebelution" when he performed "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" and "Hotel Room Service" on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" and "The Wendy Williams Show." More recently, the artist made unforgettable appearances on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and the MTV Video Music Awards.

Surrounded by some of the biggest names in rap music, Pitbull has appeared in an array of hit songs including "Salt Shaker" by the Ying Yang Twins, "Promiscuous" with Nelly Furtado and Timbaland, and "Lovers and Friends" by Lil' Jon and the East Side Boyz. He has also collaborated with artists involved in reggaeton, a form of urban music that blends Jamaican and Latin American music influences, having lent his talents to hot singles like "Gasolina" with Daddy Yankee and Noreaga, "Muevete" by Yaga and Mackie Rank, among many others.

Adding to his list of credits, he hosts "La Esquina" on Telemundo's sister network mun2, and is featured as one of Tony Montana's henchmen in the video game "Scarface: The World Is Yours."
