where she performed "Mercy" by Duffy. All four judges voted yes to put her through to boot camp. She made it through the week and is competing in the girls category under the mentorship of Simon Cowell.

After surviving the week at the judges homes and making it into the top 17, Crow said, "This whole experience has been a dream come true and I can't believe I made it this far because I went into the competition with no expectations. I can't believe this is happening to me. I think what I am really trying to work on is finding out who I am as a singer. I am trying to find my style and my edge."

A fan favorite and darling among the judges, L.A. Reid deemed her a "funky, feisty singer with soul" with Simon Cowell declaring that audiences would be "hearing a lot more about her."

Crow grew up in both Longmont and Mead, Colorado. She was fostered as a young baby by Barbara and Kelly Crow. Crow sang her first song (Faith Hill's "Breathe") at 18 months old and first performed in public at age six as part of her school's talent show. Her parents brought her to Los Angeles in 2010 to support her dream of being a performer.

boots says:
Judges are are looking out for their own, it's not about who the best is. LA Reed did what he does best, talks on both sides of the fence, hoping know one catches on. Example, he gives Rachael high praises, how great she is, but when it comes down to it, his a man of principle, he stuck to his man Marcus. Well Mr. L. A. Reed, how about Intergrity, Self Respect, how about compassion, sometimes you have to let go... 3 times Marcus was on the bottom. You told Miss Crow that you thought Marcus would just slaughter her. ARE YOU KDDIiNG ME...Marcus can't touch her. And Nicole played the same game, couldn't vote Marcus Off becaus Rachel is better, so that left the door wide open, for don't you believe it for one moment, cry me a river, I can't pick Nicole, one last ditch effort to get rid of Rachel. O yes dead lock, in hopes of Rachel having less votes, well folks we know the rest of the unbiased Judges professional multimillion air decision. How to destroy and hilmiliate....this is a great show, we don't need the drama the Judges create.... You already brought Melody back, I say bring Rachel back, and get rid of the nonese I just mention and finish this great show with Class, Dignity, and respect it and the contestant deserves.....boots
