"Ray Donovan" (TV show) is a drama series on Showtime, starring Liev Schreiber in his first series regular role, that takes a novelistic look at contemporary Los Angeles. A richly textured family drama, the series centers on Ray (Schreiber) as L.A.'s best professional "trouble shooter." He's the one called in to solve the complicated, confidential and controversial problems of the city's elite. He can make anyone's problems disappear ... except the ones he can't escape created by his own damaged Boston "Southie" family.

The series' all-star cast includes legendary actors Jon Voight as the ex-con Donovan clan patriarch and Elliot Gould as Ray's long-time client and mentor, along with Eddie Marsan ("War Horse," "Sherlock Holmes") and Dash Mihok ("I Am Legend"), who will play Ray's brothers, and Paula Malcomson ("The Hunger Games") in the role of Ray's wife, "Abby." Additional cast includes Kate Moennig ("The L Word"), Steven Bauer ("Breaking Bad"), Pooch Hall ("The Game"), Johnathon Schaech ("That Thing You Do!"), Kerris Dorsey ("Moneyball"), Devon Bagby and Peter Jacobson ("House").

Season 2 of this powerful drama, will explore the fallout of his murder for Ray, his father Mickey and the FBI, headed by LA Bureau Chief Cochran (guest star Hank Azaria). As the season unfolds, Ray continues to seek balance between the demands of his family, including his volatile relationship with Mickey, and the demands of his Hollywood clients.

In addition to Gould and Azaria, this season will also feature an impressive line-up of guest stars, including Ann-Margret, Wendell Pierce, Sherilyn Fenn, Vinessa Shaw, Brian Geraghty, Heather McComb and Kip Pardue.

Season 4
Last season's intense battle with the Armenian mafia leads a wounded Ray to reconnect with his forsaken faith. With this second chance at redemption, Ray is on a path to becoming a much better husband and father. But while things at home are improving, his work introduces him to worlds more formidable and dangerous than ever before. Meanwhile, Mickey has fled Los Angeles, hoping to plant roots on his own terms and to begin anew, one scam at a time.
