Ray Evernham is the host of Velocity's reality series "AmeriCARna."

Driven by a passion for automobiles, Ray Evernham started working on short track race cars at age 15 and never looked back. In 1999, he won the NASCAR Winston Cup Illustrated "Person of the Year" and has also worked with the world's best racers, including Mario Andretti, A.J. Foyt, Dale Earnhardt, Darrell Waltrip and Bill Elliott. Evernham has earned three championships and 47 wins in 216 starts, including two Daytona 500 victories and the inaugural Brickyard 400.

Evernham's areas of expertise include NASCAR, racing, automotive mechanics, the history of automobiles, American cars, and car restoration.
