Now in its ninth decade, Bentleys Oyster Bar and Grill first opened its doors in 1916 in the same beautiful old Victorian building it occupies today and has now become an iconic London restaurant. Offered the chance to restore Bentleys to its former glory when it came up for sale in 2005, Corrigan embraced the challenge. In November of that year, following a sensitive refurbishment that kept much of the original arts and craft flavor, Bentleys once again opened its doors to great critical acclaim serving oysters, fish and seafood in much the same way it has since 1916. Bentleys Oyster Bar and Grill now serves more oysters than any other UK restaurant.

leaving Ireland to pursue his dream of becoming a chef, Corriganspent four years cooking in the Netherlands before progressing to become head chef of Mulligans in Mayfair. His first Michelin star was awarded at Stephen Bulls Fulham Road restaurant in 1994, prior to launching the acclaimed Michelin-starred Lindsay House in Soho in 1997.
