Howland has also appeared in Canadian television series such as "The Murdoch Mysteries," "Billable Hours," "The Royal Canadian Air Farce," "Sue Thomas FBI," "Train 48," "Endless Grind," opposite Jayne Eastwood, "Traders," and John Woo's "Once A Thief." In addition, Howland has been in Syfy's miniseries "Tin Man" and TV movies such as NBC's "Jesse the Body Ventura," CTV's "Secret Santa" and Showtime's "Club Land," directed by Saul Rubinek.

As a songwriter Howland has been at it since he was seventeen. He spent most of those years practicing and writing on his own. People are still surprised to find he plays guitar.
