Rick Yemm stars on History Channel's documentary reality series, "Ice Road Truckers."
Rick Yemm, fired by Hugh Rowland in Season 1, is now an equal, working the same Arctic roads as his former boss, but for a different company. In Season 2, Rick is out to prove to himself, and to Hugh, that he is an ice road trucker. He is a tattooed, loud-mouthed, lively character who showed up for work this winter sporting a bright blue Mohawk. He "works hard, plays hard."
Rick's first season on the road was two years ago. The first thing he said about the experience was that he should have "f****** walked out, but I was too stupid and too stubborn & It's not for the faint of heart." Rick's wife, well aware of the dangers of these particular ice roads, fears for his safety.
