He has been the honorary grand marshal for the Love Ride for the past 15 years, helping to raise millions of dollars in the fight against autism; has built homes for disabled veterans with Habitat for Humanity; has participated in the Read Across America program by reading to children; and has ridden across the country to participate in Rolling Thunder, which makes sure that the U.S. administration does not forget the POWs and MIAs from past wars. Patrick also took two trips to the Middle East with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Michael Mullen, to support the troops. He is also a member of the Boozefighters Motorcycle Club, which supports numerous charitable events.
Born in Marietta, Georgia, Patrick grew up as an avid athlete but was taken with acting after sitting in on some drama classes in high school. He moved to Hollywood in 1984 and was cast in the beatnik play "Go." He got his break during this performance when he was discovered by director Roger Corman. Ever involved in all aspects of his trade, he enjoys producing films when he is not performing.
He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Barbara, and their two children.
