Roger Ambrose from "Hot Set" is one of the contestants in the Syfy reality competition series. He has worked in production design and art direction for over 25 years. He grew up in both San Gabriel and San Diego, California, and now lives in Orange, California.

Being on "Hot Set" sounded like it would be a "hoot" for Roger Ambrose. He saw the opportunity as a chance to let production companies see how he did his craft and to finally show others what he can do. For the last 20 years Roger has worked on numerous and varied types of television series, pilots, and video series. He began his career as an art director for three national situation comedies for Turner Broadcasting. Roger designed sets for hundreds of commercials ranging from McDonald's to Chrysler. He also served as a freelance art director for numerous TV pilots and low budget films and has worked steadily since.
