Sara Chase stars in "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" on Netflix as Cyndee.

Sara Chase studied theater at Boston University where she was a member of the all-female a cappella group Terpsichore. She won Best Female Soloist at the 2002 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella at Lincoln Center.

Chase appeared on Broadway in the original musical "First Date." Off-Broadway, she was seen in "The Toxic Avenger," "Slut" and "Godspell." In addition, she played the title role in the epic Swedish musical, "Kristina," by Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulveus, portrayed Laura Ingalls in "Prairie," opposite Patrick Swayze and Melissa Gilbert, and performed in "The First Wives Club," for which she won the San Diego Theatre Critics Award for Best Supporting Actress, "Legally Blonde," "Ever After," "Princess Caraboo," "Death Takes a Holiday," "Tales of the City," "The Unauthorized Biography of Samantha Brown" and "Love Loss and What I Wore" by Nora Ephron.

On television, Chase has been seen giving birth in an elevator in the daytime soap opera "As the World Turns" and has also appeared in episodes of "Law & Order," "Michael and Michael Have Issues," "Mercy," "The Office" and "Arrested Development." She also has been featured in the films "The Other Guys," "Arthur," "Uncertainty" and "Little Black Book." Her commercial work includes Dunkin' Donuts, BJ's Wholesale, and Sunsilk Hair.

In 2008, Chase produced and starred in the Upright Citizen's Brigade (UCB) sketch-comedy show "Jen and Angie," which was about Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie stranded on a deserted island. The show ran in both New York and Los Angeles for a total of six months and was featured in InTouch, Us Weekly, TV Guide, Page Six, KTLA morning news show, The Village Voice, and the AP.
