Sarah Gadon stars opposite Cynthia Nixon in Starz' epic miniseries "World Without End," based upon the global bestseller by Ken Follett, as Philippa. Gadon recently completed production on the feature film "Cosmopolis," marking her second collaboration with David Cronenberg, the first being "A Dangerous Method."

Sarah Gadon hasn't lost any of her passion for the classroom. She remains academically inclined as a student at the University of Toronto's Cinema Studies program—building upon her high school achievements as an Ontario Scholar, also honored for her work on behalf of global women's rights. More recently, however, the kudos comes from her work on television: Gadon was nominated for both an ACTRA & Gemini Award (Outstanding Female Performance) for a guest starring role on the CBS series "Flashpoint." She also recently starred in ABC's Happy Town" as Georgia Bravin.

On the big screen, Gadon was seen in "Dream House," opposite Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts and Rachel Weisz, Mary Harron's "The Moth Diaries" and "Leslie, My Name is Evil," which was released at the 2009 Toronto Film Festival.

She has been a recurring character in three award-winning Canadian television series, "Murdoch Mysteries," "The Border" and "Being Erica." Her voice work includes Nelvana's Gemini-nominated "Ruby Gloom" and Teletoons' "Total Drama Island," as well as narration of the CBC film "Society's Child."

Gadon is an accomplished artist having spent much of her adolescence training as a performer with time spent as a Junior Associate at the National Ballet School of Canada and as a student at Claude Watson School for the Performing Arts. Now Gadon divides her time between film sets and academics as a Cinema Studies student at the prestigious University of Toronto.
