Spencer Van Wyck stars in "Degrassi: The Next Generation" as Wesley Betencamp, who achieved his ninth grade goal: he escaped with almost no one noticing he even went to Degrassi. But in the dying months of his first year of high school, he took some risks, went to some parties, and made a surprising discovery: when you put yourself out there, high school can actually be pretty fun! Now, armed with his charming naivety, his wide-eyed enthusiasm, and his near-crippling nerves, Wesley's ready to wade 
into the social sphere of high school, even if it kills him. And with a friend like Dave, he's pretty sure it will.

In his time away from acting, Spencer enjoys playing volleyball, fishing, skateboarding, sailing, playing electric guitar, and doing improv.
