Stef Dawson stars in SundanceTV's drama series "Cleverman."

A native of Australia, Stef Dawson studied theater and opera at the University of Wollongong, where she performed in stage productions of "Song of Survival," "Beserk Baroque," "Dorothy Hewett: A Tremendeous World in Her Head," "The Bachae" and "The Land of Bliss." She then graduated from Screenwise Film & TV School in 2006.

On the big screen, Dawson was seen in both parts of Lionsgate's "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" as Annie Cresta. She also appeared as the lead in two edgy independent films: "Creedmoria" and "Paper Store." Other film credits include "Shadow of the Monarch," "Rage of Innocence," "Foxfur" and "Wrath."

Australian stage credits include "As You Like It" and "Night Vision" at Impulse Theatre, "Glutton for Punishment" at Actors Anonymous, "Short and Sweet Gala Final"
at Outtathebox, "Noir" at Meowmedia, "As You Like It" with Ragandbone Productions, "Roulette" with Dalem Productions, and "Eleven Parts of Feeling" with Citymoon Theatre Company.

On television, Dawson appeared in an episode of Showtime's "Weeds," as well as several Australian series, including "Out of the Blue" and "All Saints."

Dawson is an award-winning equestrian and classically trained singer.
