Steve Zissis stars in "Togetherness" on HBO as Alex Pappas, a thirty-something actor who has been trying to make it in Los Angeles for nearly twenty years and has just been left homeless with only one friend in the world, Brett (Mark Duplass).

Before "Togetherness," Steve Zissis has worked with the series creators and brothers Jay Duplass and Mark Duplass on several feature films, including "The Do-Deca-Pentathlon," "Jeff, Who Lives at Home," opposite Jason Segel, Ed Helms and Judy Greer, "Cyrus," alongside John C. Reilly, Marisa Tomei and Jonah Hill, and "Baghead." In addition, Zissis has appeared in Spike Jonze's "Her," starring Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams and the voice of Scarlett Johansson, "Bad Milo" with Ken Marino, "The Overbrook Brothers" and "Prototype."

On television, Zissis has been seen in episodes of "Trophy Wife," "Arrested Development," "Private Practice," "Parks and Recreation," "The League" and "The Office."

In addition to acting, Zissis collaborated with Justin Bozonelis to write and direct the short film comedy "Kleshnov."
