Tattoo School (TV show) host Dr. Bill Pogue
"Tattoo School" (TLC TV show) is a reality series in each episode of which, three new students go to The World's Only Tattoo School in colorful Shreveport, Louisiana, to experience an intensive two-week "sink or swim" program. Every time these tattoo-artists-in-training put needle to skin, there's the potential for a work of art ... or an unnatural disaster, all under the watchful eye of Dr. Bill Pogue, the founder and lead instructor of "Tattoo School." Using his 40 years of experience in the business, he takes only two weeks to teach what most tattoo artists spend years learning. And for the student who does the best tattoo on the final exam, there's the Golden Gun, a high-end tattoo machine that will get them started on their tattooing career.

Originally, "Tattoo School" aired as a special featuring award-winning tattoo artist Lisa Fasulo who runs a hands-on and unconventional tattoo school in upstate New York where students from all walks of life learn how to tattoo in just two weeks. These rookie students are seeking to change their lives through tattooing. With just two intense weeks under Lisa's instruction, they will get the experience tattooing on body after body with artwork of varying levels of difficulty.

Rookie students, models risking their skin to first time body artists, a rebellious instructor and unconventional training ... who will bear the drama of competition and survive?
