Teresa Giudice from "Real Housewives of New Jersey" is one of the housewives featured on the Bravo docu-drama series. She is also one of the celebrity contestants in Season 5 of NBC's reality business competition "The Celebrity Apprentice."

Teresa Giudice is a true Jersey girl, born and raised. Her parents emigrated from Italy and raised both Teresa and her brother, Giuseppe, in an Italian Catholic home. She grew up in Paterson, New Jersey, where she met her husband, Joe. The couple played house

together as children and, now after being married for more than eight years, they are in the process of building their own massive dream home.

Joe Giudice, an entrepreneur, owns several successful businesses throughout New Jersey, and Teresa spends most of her time raising their four beautiful daughters: Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana. Teresa manages each of the girls' busy schedules, shuffling them from dance, gymnastics, acting, voice and guitar lessons — and Teresa herself teaches them all how to be "fabulous."

Before becoming a housewife, Teresa earned a degree in Fashion Marketing and Management from Berkeley College. She worked in the fashion industry in New York and hopes to one-day return to the fashion world but is focused for now on raising her children. She's also involved in community service and serves as a committee member for Project Ladybug, a foundation created by Dina Manzo.

Teresa is proud to be from the Garden State and happy to live and raise her kids there. She has a beach house on the Jersey Shore and loves to entertain her family and friends while enjoying all that life has to offer.

Teresa has been featured on various magazine covers, including People, Us Weekly, In Touch, and Woman's World. As a New York Times best-selling author, Giudice is taking the food world by storm. The fearless TV personality is emerging as a burgeoning businesswoman through her irresistible Italian-based cookbooks and forthcoming business ventures.

It is to her deep-rooted Italian heritage that Teresa owes her culinary skill — as well as her passion and drive. Her parents immigrated to the United States from Sala Consilina, a rustic town in Southern Italy. As a young girl, she learned the nuances of making homemade pasta, the ins and outs of olive oil, and the best tricks for making delicious red sauces. Her tight-knit family also taught her the value of hard work and fortitude — which plays out in all of Teresa's endeavors.

Teresa's expertise in authentic Italian cooking led her to success with the publication of her two New York Times best-selling books, "Skinny Italian" (Hyperion) and "Fabulicious!: Teresa's Italian Family Cookbook" (Running Press). "Skinny Italian" showcases the health benefits of Old World Italian cuisine by creating simple, tasty Italian recipes boosted with flavor from fresh herbs. Through this inaugural title, Teresa inspired a generation of mothers to get in the kitchen and build confidence by cooking for their families. Fan favorites like her Gorgeous Garlic Shrimp, Veal Piccata and Fettucine Alfredo teach readers that it is possible to eat home-cooked, fresh Italian cuisine while still fitting into one's skinny jeans.

"Fabulicious" combines Teresa's two passions — food and family — in 60 more Italian "a la Giudice" recipes. Serving as a complete Italian cooking resource, "Fabulicious" reveals how her family keeps tradition alive by making time-honored dishes from scratch. Teresa is proud to share her techniques passed down from her parents for making homemade pasta, gnocchi, risotto, Italian bread, and more. A follow-up to this bestseller, Teresa will release her third cookbook, "Fabulicious: Fast & Fit" (Running Press) in May 2012. She'll share 70 original low-fat, quick-prep recipes, each of which will display nutritional information for the calorie-conscious reader.

I have watched this show once while channel surfing..the episode of the cat fight in the country club so being from NY I am noisy..I gotta say that I liked Teresa..although the comment,"I didnt know they had diamonds in Africa" changed my look at her boy that was dumb, I mean real DUMB. Anyway, if this show is for real than you all have a problem with false self esteem and not happy without meterial things.."MY HOUSE IS NOT IN FORECLOSURE" I don't want people to think I am poor...getting back to the cat fight what I like about Teresa is ha she has a 5 million dollar home but can get ghetto on your *** if she has to...but please read a book
