"The Amazing Race 25" on CBS is an adventure reality series that has won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program nine times. This season 11 teams will embark on a trek around the world for approximately 25 days to win the $1 million dollar prize. Phil Keoghan serves as host.

"The Amazing Race 25" contestants include married surfers Bethany Hamilton & Adam Dirks, urban bike racers Kym Perfetto & Alli Forsythe, food scientists Amy DeJong & Maya Warren, realtor sisters Lisa Thomson & Michelle Thomson, firefighters Michael Ward & Scott Strazzullo, dating pro wrestlers Brooke Adams & Robbie E. Strauss, college sweethearts Tim Tsao & Te Jay McGrath, model Isabelle Du & accountant Dennis Hour, engaged couple Keith Tollefson & Whitney Duncan, married dentists Misti Raman & Jim Raman, and Shelley Porter and her daughter Nici Porter.

Amazing facts about "The Amazing Race"! Over the past 24 seasons, 234 teams have competed, traveling 770,000 miles and visiting 84 countries with 286 road blocks in total. With 12 appearances, China is the most-visited country on the "Race."

"The Amazing Race" sends 11 teams on a trek around the world. Each Team is comprised of two people who have a pre-existing relationship with one another. At every destination, each Team competes in a series of challenges — some mental and some physical — and when the tasks have been completed, they learn their next destination. Teams who are farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning at least $1 million.

Jerry Bruckheimer, Bertram van Munster, Jonathan Littman, Elise Doganieri and Mark Vertullo are the executive producers for Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Earthview Inc. in association with ABC Studios and Amazing Race Productions. "The Amazing Race" was created by Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri.

cowboys played it straight and showed some class...lesbians showed they were bad sports
jean says:
The only team to play an honest game were Jet and Cord. They were polite to people in different countries and didn't try to destroy the cabs when the drivers went the wrong way. The so called winners were truly "Ugly Americans". Such a disappointing finale.
ccfla says:
These guys should have won. They ran the best race like 2 Texas gentlemen, fair. If all their fans gave a buck to ABC for Jet and Coard they would get the million they deserve.
triffid says:
It's been a long time since I've laughed out loud from a tv program, go Amazing Race
