"The Game" Season 6 introduces new characters to the show. Fans will see the "dysfunctional" football family through the fresh eyes of its newest cast members Keira Michelle Whitaker (Lauren London) and Bryce "Blue" Westbrook (Jay Ellis). They join fellow cast members Wendy Raquel Robinson, Hosea Chanchez, Coby Bell, Brandy Norwood and Barry Floyd. Fans will be taken on a roller coaster ride filled with plenty of twists and turns for the Sabers and Sunbeams beginning with the excitement of the NFL's Premiere Draft Day that ends in the draft trade of longtime Saber Derwin Davis. Guest stars this season include Rick Fox, Rockmond Dunbar, Ciara, John Singleton, Navid Negahban, Bumper Robinson, Tae Heckard, Greg Jennings and LaMonica Garrett.

The Season 5 finale ended with Tasha Mack in love, but will this love last forever when former flame Rick Fox returns to her life? Meanwhile, newlyweds Jason and Chardonnay are very much in love, but will Jason's job get in the way of their honeymoon bliss? Tempted by his past demons, Malik is Malik 2.0 this year, but will he stay on track and maintain his sobriety? All this and more will be revealed in the new season of "The Game."

Previous Seasons

Being the wife or girlfriend of a pro-football player might sound like a glamorous and stress-free existence, but this past year Melanie Barnett (Tia Mowry, "Sister, Sister") has learned the truth on BET's comedy, "The Game." When her fiancée, Derwin Davis (Pooch Hall, "Miracle's Boys"), a rookie wide receiver for the San Diego Sabers, cheated on her with a music pop star, she called off the engagement and the relationship. Alone, Melanie will discover who her real friends are and re-evaluate her life and career options. Meanwhile, Derwin will have to face his indiscretion and learn lessons about the very other side of being a young, eligible and star professional athlete.

Tasha Mack (Wendy Raquel Robinson, "The Steve Harvey Show") will focus on getting back in the dating game and her growing sports management company, leaving her star quarterback son, Malik Wright (Hosea Chanchez, "For Your Love"), to find motherly advice in all the wrong places. Although Malik is a player on the field, he explores the possibility of slowing down his "off the field" player ways and getting into a mature monogamous relationship.

Moving away from the typical NFL trophy wife role, Kelly (Brittany Daniel, "White Chicks") must learn how to balance being a wife, mother and career woman during her husband's trying football season. As a veteran star player, Jason Pitts (Coby Bell, "Third Watch") is focused more than ever on maintaining his star football position, but as new and faster players arrive and his age becomes an issue, he struggles to remain on top.

After a year of dealing with groupies, image consultants and Saber Sunbeams, Melanie embarks on a new journey, but realizes just how much football is still a part of her life.

"The Game" Season 6 is a production of Happy Camper Productions and Grammnet Productions in association with CBS Paramount Network Television Inc. Kelsey Grammer ("Frasier," "Girlfriends"), creator Mara Brock Akil ("Girlfriends," "Moesha," "The Jamie Foxx Show") and Steve Stark serve as executive producers.
