"The Inbetweeners" (MTV TV show) is the U.S. version of a British sitcom that aired for three series from 2008 to 2010. The single-camera comedy is about four high school boys who belong to the "inbetweeners" social class — teens who are not the most cool and popular but not geeky enough to be branded uncool.

The series takes a comedic look at a group of teenagers navigating high school and charging into adulthood the way everyone does ... by taking one step forward and three steps back. Whether humiliating themselves in an effort to impress the girl of their dreams, or mercilessly mocking their friend for driving a bright yellow clunker with a cassette player and one blue door, get ready to embrace the "inbetween."

The cast includes Joey Pollari as Will McKenzie; Bubba Lewis as Simon Cooper; Zack Pearlman as Jay Cartwright; Mark L. Young as Neil Sutherland and Alex Frnka as Carly D'Amato.

"The Inbetweeners" US TV show is produced by Kapital Entertainment. The series is based on the critically acclaimed award-winning British series, and was adapted for the U.S. by Brad Copeland ("Arrested Development," "My Name is Earl"). The pilot was directed by indie filmmaker-writer-director Taika Waititi ("Flight of the Conchords"). The series is executive produced by Brad Copeland and Aaron Kaplan, along with UK series creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris. Clay Spencer, Justin Levy and Jennifer Russakoff are the MTV executives in charge.
