Thomas Sangster, whose full name is Thomas Brodie-Sangster, stars as Ferb Fletcher, Phineas and Candace's stepbrother who is originally from England, in the Emmy-nominated animated series "Phineas and Ferb" on Disney XD and Disney Channel. Ferb is Phineas' loyal right-hand man, his engineer, inventor, enforcer and all around go-to guy. His unquestioning allegiance to Phineas usually precludes him from speaking too much. His mother, Tasha Bertram, is a dancer and actress who appeared in several BBC films, while his father, Mark Sangster, is an actor and musician who is currently appearing in "The Lion King" musical in London's West End.
Sangster's first acting job was in the BBC television movie "The Adventures of Station Jim." Subsequently he had lead roles in "Bobbie's Girl," "The Miracles of the Cards," "Stig of the Dump" and the miniseries "Entrusted," for which he won the Best Actor in a Mini-Series Award at the 2003 Monte Carlo Film Festival.
He is well-known for his role as the stepson in "Love Actually," playing opposite Liam Neeson, a performance which earned him a Golden Satellite Award nomination and a Young Artist Award.
