Tiffany Maher from "So You Think You Can Dance 2012" is one of the top 20 contestants in Season 9 of the FOX reality dance competition. She is 19 years old.
Tiffany Maher currently resides in Plantation, Florida, a suburb of Ft. Lauderdale. She attends school at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. She has been dancing since the age of 3, but was brought up in the dance studio since she was a baby watching her older sister, Brittany. Tiffany's dance specialty is Jazz. Dance is
her passion, and she loves to perform.

Do you have a nickname?

Are you in school?
I am two courses short of being a junior at the University of Central Florida. I graduated from South Plantation High School last year. I came into college with almost a full year of credits.
Do you have a job?
I teach dance when I can when I am home in Plantation at Dance FX, where I grew up dancing. I do choreography for the dancers at the studio. I started teaching dance classes at the age of 15.
At what age did you first start to dance?

What other training/talents do you have?
I was a competitive cheerleader for my high school.
What was your reaction to becoming a "So You Think You Can Dance" contestant?
I was extremely excited! It was surreal. I have watched the show since the first season and I have been a huge fan. I could not wait for my opportunity to be able to audition when I was old enough.
What would people be most surprised to learn about you?
I am a major tomboy. I love watching sports and doing outdoor activities. Also, I was salutatorian of my high school graduating class.
What choreographer do you look forward to working with?
It would really be tough to choose one choreographer. Mia Michaels, Travis Wall, Sonya Tayeh, Mandy Moore, Stacey Tookey, Tyce Diorio, Dee Caspary, and Nappy Tabs are all top notch choreographers that I would be extremely grateful to get to work with.

Allison Holker and Courtney Galiano.
