British actor Tim Robinson is a newcomer to Hollywood who is making his U.S. television debut in the comedy series. He previously played the lead roles in the British films "Christmas Eve" and "Lovelorn," which won Best International Film at the Eugene International Film Festival in 2009. He was also seen in "Inner Calm," "Biome" and "Popcorn." In 2004, he won the award for Best Newcomer (Actor) from the UK Film Council's Digital Shorts for the short film "Remote," which also won its People Choice Award.
On U.K. television, he was featured in the BBC Wales' drama "Nice Day for a Welsh Wedding." He also appeared in commercials for Douwe Egberts, Play Millions and Buster Cleaning Products.
Robinson graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama (RSAMD) in 2001. He became a regular member of the Citizens Theatre Company (Glasgow) and the Wolsey Theatre Company (Ipswich) before touring with the Changeling Theatre Company as Romeo in "Romeo and Juliet." He also studied the Meisner technique at The Actors Temple in London.
He enjoys fencing, swimming and cycling.
