Toks Olagundoye (pronounced Tokes Awlahgoondawyay) stars in "The Neighbors" on ABC as Jackie Joyner Kersee.
A native of Lagos, Nigeria, Toks Olagundoye was educated at a boarding school in England and earned her BFA in theater from Smith College in Massachusetts, straying occasionally to the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
On television, she has hosted two PBS specials and made guest appearances in "Prime Suspect," "NCIS," "Switched at Birth," "CSI: NY," "Law & Order," "Ugly Betty,"
On stage. she was seen as Kenia in Mario Fratti's "Candida and Her Friends." Other credits include Hellena in "The Rover" and Slim in "Toybox Wetbar." She was also seen in off-Broadway's "Saint Lucy's Eyes" and "One Nation Under."
