Tom Ward stars in A&E's mystery crime drama series "The Frankenstein Chronicles" as Peel.

British actor Tom Ward is perhaps best known for playing forensic pathologist Dr. Harry Cunningham from 2002 to 2012 in BBC's long-running mystery crime drama series "Silent Witness." He more recently starred in the BBC miniseries "Death Comes to Pemberley" and has appeared in numerous period dramas, including "Vanity Fair," "Moll Flanders," "Anna Karenina" and "Pride and Prejudice." Other UK television credits include "Death in Paradise," "Doctor Who," "Agatha Christie's Marple," "Instinct," "Hawking," "Ready When You Are Mr. McGill," "Red Cap," "The Lost World," "Midsomer Murders," "The Infinite World of H.G. Wells," as the title character, "Love in a Cold Climate" and "Island."

On the big screen, Ward has been seen "in The Heart of Me," starring Helena Bonham Carter and Paul Bettany, Philip Kaufman's "Quills," starring Geoffrey Rush, Kate Winslet and Joaquin Phoenix, and "Plunkett & Macleane" with Robert Carlyle, Jonny Lee Miller and Liv Tyler.

Onstage, Ward has performed in productions of "The Merchant of Venice," "An Inspector Calls," "Hamlet," "Vortex" and "Hay Fever." 

Ward is an experienced stage fighter and has fenced for Great Britain. He enjoys singing, dancing and playing the saxophone.

Ward is married to journalist Emily Hohler with whom he has three children.
