Tony Laubach hunted down his first tornado with his Dad behind the wheel on their very first chase in his home state of Ohio. It was less than a year later when he moved to Colorado. Shortly thereafter, Tony began college and his professional storm chasing career. Since his first full tornado season in 2004, Tony has logged over 100,000 miles across 25 states. In 2007, he joined Tim Samaras and the TWISTEX crew and took on the lead spot in the M3 vehicle, a compact car outfitted with meteorological instrumentation. This season, Tony is hoping to shoot extreme weather footage and help Tim pull off a perfect probe deployment.
