Torah Bright is a snowboarding athlete competing at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics for Australia.

Torah Bright made her Olympic debut at the Torino Games as a 19-year-old, where she finished fifth, making her one of two non-Americans to crack the top five (Hannah Teter, Gretchen Bleiler and Kelly Clark of the U.S. finished first, second and fourth, respectively, with Kjersti Buaas of Norway winning bronze). Torah Bright followed up her strong Olympic debut by winning the 2007 Ticket to Ride (TTR) Women's World Tour and finishing first at the 2007 X Games.

Torah Bright started out skiing with her family at age two in Australia's Snowy Mountains and was an alpine ski racer early on. At age 11, she switched to snowboarding, following her older brother, Ben, a professional snowboarder who is now her coach. Torah's older sister, Rowena, competed in Alpine skiing for Australia at the 2002 Salt Lake Games, finishing 24th in the combined and 21st in the downhill (she also competed in slalom but did not finish). Her younger sister, Abi, also has competed on the national level for Australia as a snowboarder (she placed eighth in halfpipe at the 2002 Australian National Championships).

Bright's website describes her as "one of the most photographed female snowboarders in the world," and in addition to being featured in magazines and TV ad campaigns, she has her own signature line with the snowboarding and surfing clothing company Roxy. The photogenic Aussie also has her own character in the X-Box game Amped 2.

Born in Australia, Bright divides her time between distinct and very different corners of the globe. In addition to having a home in Salt Lake City, Bright also spends part of the calendar year in Australia and New Zealand.
