Frustrations with government-run programs to limit catches led to Travis Lofland's unhappy departure from the Wizard in 2006. Now, after a year-and-a-half hiatus from fishing, Travis is back onboard the Wizard.
Having worked for both Monte Colburn onboard another crabber and with Keith on the Wizard, Travis is a full-share crewman, good all around deckhand and dependable shipmate.
The Wizard crew are happy to welcome Travis and his good nature, free spirit and outgoing personality back onboard. A consummate bachelor, Travis was born and raised in Lynden, Washington. He is currently building a home in Kona, Hawaii.
