Trent Jackson from "Hillbilly Handfishin'" stars in the Animal Planet reality docu-series. He says, "Skipper's the one that talked my girlfriend into taking her socks off and getting bit because I didn't have the heart to."

Trent Jackson ("Hillbilly Handfishin'") best describes himself as a "cowboy at heart." Born and raised in Temple, Oklahoma, he met Skipper Bivins when he was 28, and the duo have been noodling together ever since. Though they had heard a lot about each other prior to their first encounter, they initially crossed paths when Jackson needed help moving bales of hay on his farm. Twenty years later, the hillbilly duo are still fishing together. Jackson's biggest catch occurred seven years ago with the catfish weighing close to 85 pounds. The best part about the noodling business for Jackson is seeing newcomers' reactions when they get bit by a catfish for the very first time.

Growing up in Oklahoma, Jackson worked in a refinery building industrial equipment. Since then, he has traveled all over the world from Venezuela to Trinidad and everywhere in between, manufacturing equipment and working in various refineries.
