In addition to performing, Jackson enjoys playing basketball, skateboarding and surfing, as well as teaching Capoeira (Brazilian Martial Arts). He plays both the drums and guitar and dances in styles ranging all the way from Hip Hop and Pop Locking to Swing and Ballet.
He was born August 30 and currently resides in Burbank, California.

From there Jackson landed the role of Young Simba in the Broadway National Tour of Disney's "The Lion King," which he performed for three years from 2005–2008.
