Troy Von Scheibner is the host of Syfy's "Troy: Street Magic."

With his multiple tattoos and eclectic sense of fashion, South London magician Troy Von Scheibner, who favors 1970s gold watches and vintage clothing, doesn't look like your average magician. He brilliantly blends hidden camera technique with close-up and situational illusions, offering a new take on classic magic with a manner that is spontaneous and unforced.

Troy moved to Brockley as a child with his German archeologist, psychologist and actor father. Troy inherited his adventurous streak from his father who took Troy at the age of six to see local magician The Great Gavari, causing Troy to fall in love with magic.

Troy's passion for magic was reignited in the late 1990s while watching David Blaine. Troy studied Blaine's video intently to figure out how to recreate his magic. Troy then, at the age of 13, joined The Young Magicians Club, the youth section of the Magic Circle. He went on to win Young Close-Up Magician of the Year.

Balancing magic gigs around London, Troy also gained a university degree in Creative Advertising Studies, followed by a job in retail.
