Tyler Posey stars in "Teen Wolf" on MTV in the title role of Scott McCall. The comedy series is a modern remake of the cult classic movie starring Michael J. Fox. Posey previously played the recurring role of Andrew Ortega in ABC Family's "Lincoln Heights."

When Posey was first offered the role of Mauro, the deaf mute son of Columbian terrorists in the film "Collateral Damage," starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, the head-strong eight year old responded by saying, "Why don't they find a real deaf mute?" Apparently, he wanted lines. He gave in after meeting Arnold.
Posey then won the role of Jennifer Lopez's son in "Maid in Manhattan" after deciding, on his own, to sing an impromptu rendition of Simon and Garfunkle's "Me and Julio Down by the School Yard" for the producers.
Posey continued to land a series regular role in the PAX series "Doc," starring Billy Ray Cyrus, on which he learned to speak fluent "Canadian" while shooting for three years in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Posey next learned to speak "Lakota" for the role of Gabe Wheeler in the 2005 TNT miniseries "Into the West." Other credits include a recurring role in ABC's "Brothers & Sisters" and appearances on The CW's "Smallville" and CBS's "Without a Trace."
He is also a talented singer/songwriter, who plays lead and bass in his band Lost in Kostko. When he is not acting or playing music, Tyler enjoys snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding and spending time with his close circle of friends.
