Tyne Stecklein is one of the professional dancers featured on ABC's ballroom competition "Dancing with the Stars." She is making her series debut as a competitor in Season 17 with celebrity dance partner Bill Nye. Stecklein is also one of the dancers featured on the ABC Family comedy clip series, "Dancing Fools." In addition, she is an actress.

Tyne Stecklein grew up alongside her childhood best friend and fellow "Dancing Fools" dancer Brit Stewart in Aurora, Colorado. At 18 she toured with "High School Musical" and never looked back.

Stecklein's television credits include "The Grammy Awards," "American Music Awards," the Rose Bowl Parade, "Glee," "Castle," "The Wizards of Waverly Place," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Bones," "Shake It Up," "Body of Proof" and "Dancing with the Stars."

She's appeared in the films "High School Musical 2," "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," "Stepbrother," "17 Again," "Fame," "Burlesque," "No Strings Attached," "The Campaign," "Rock of Ages," "A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III," HBO's "Behind the Candelabra," "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Slayers" and the Michael Jackson documentary "This Is It."



Stecklein has also performed with Cher at the Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.

When not working, Stecklein enjoys acting, teaching and choreographing at competitive dance studios across the country.

Stecklein resides in Los Angeles, California.
