Vanessa Morgan was born March 23, 1992, in Ottawa, Canada. She began singing at the age of five and made her first public performance on a televised fundraiser in Palm Springs, California. Other appearances quickly followed, including a stint as Junior Miss America in 1999.
Morgan made her feature film debut playing a supporting role in "Frankie and Alice," starring Halle Berry. Morgan also starred as a young Vanessa Williams in VH1's TV movie, "A Diva's Christmas," the British telefilm, "Sir Norbert Smith, a Life," and has appeared in numerous commercials in the United States and Canada. Morgan can be seen playing Amanda Pierce on the internationally syndicated hit TV series, "The Latest Buzz," for which she also sings the theme song.
Morgan currently attends Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.
In her free time, she enjoys singing and writing music.
