Whitney Myer from "The Voice" is one of the contestants in Season 2 of the NBC reality singing competition series. She is a 25-year-old singer from Reno, Nevada. She is on Adam Levine's team.
Whitney Myer ("The Voice") sang "No One" by Alicia Keys for her blind audition. All four judges turned their chairs around, but she chose Levine to be her coach.
As a child, Myer would hang out in the mosh pit at performances of her father and uncle's ska band. She started writing songs and performing at coffee shops with her father when she was just 14 years old. Now Myer and her best friend have joined the family band, and toured with them in a Blue Bird Wanderlodge across the West Coast. Besides enjoying ska, the guitar and keyboard performer also likes indie pop and R&B. Whitney's next step is to transition music from a hobby to a career!
