Wynn Everett is perhaps best known for playing the recurring role of Tamara Hart in HBO's drama series "The Newsroom." She also recurred in NBC's thriller "The Event." In addition, she has appeared in episodes of "Vegas," "House of Lies," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "Grey's Anatomy," "Outlaw," "Drop Dead Diva," "Bones," "In Plain Sight," "Supernatural," "The Mentalist," "Cold Case," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent."

film credits include Mike Nichols' "Charlie Wilson's War," starring Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, "American Loser," alongside Seann William Scott and Gretchen Mol, "Backwards," opposite James Van Der Beek, the crime comedy "The Maiden Heist" and the mystery thriller "The Collective."

Wynn used to run the Green Room for ABC's "Good Morning America." She has had over a dozen poems published in literary journals and is a regular contributor to two online journals.

In high school, Everett won Georgia State Best Actress for her work in the One Act Competition production of "Children of a Lesser God" in 1994.
