"Yukon Men" (TV show) is a reality docu-series on Discovery Channel that unveils Tanana, Alaska as its people face one of the most brutal winters on record.

There's a town deep in the remote interior of Alaska, at the junction of two powerful rivers, with no roads in or out, where wolves howling through the frigid night air reminds the 200 people living there how isolated they really are. Life here is harsh. People struggle to find food and heat; battle life-threatening predators just to survive. Boys grow into men quickly here because they must help the family survive. Father-son bonding and tensions take on a new meaning in this environment. The stakes are high in Tanana, and to defy the odds, to survive and to battle the harsh Alaskan wilderness, these "Yukon Men" must overcome obstacles, stick together and prevail.

"Yukon Men" is the real story of survival. Temperatures reaching 60 below zero affect relationships, minds and one's very will to survive. The men and their families are brave and resourceful as they struggle to exist in one of America's last true frontiers.

Season 2

Last season, Tanana had record-breaking temperatures of 70 degrees below. Viewers watched as the Yukon Men scrambled to collect enough resources to live through the winter. While the dark days may be over, the fight for survival is a never-ending struggle for the villagers of Tanana. After weeks of draining their food, wood and fuel, they must now scramble to replenish their essentials in the face of the harsh winter storms.

This season, father-son relationships will be put to the test with new pressures and responsibilities that will be demanded of them. The "Yukon Men" find themselves at a cross roads as they grapple with some life-altering decisions. Stan Zuray has always been a proud patriarch and has welcomed the responsibility to provide for his families. But Stan isn't getting any younger and hunting in Alaska isn't getting any easier. Stan's son, Joey, must step up and take on some of the major responsibilities in order to protect his father from the harsh conditions of the Alaskan wilderness. Meanwhile, Charlie Wright is struggling with his own family, as his son, Bob, must decide if he can handle a life in Tanana or if it's time to find a job in the big city. Down the street, Pat Moore must deal with a family illness and a business in jeopardy while his daughter Courtney relishes in her pregnancy.

These "Yukon Men" (and women) are a rare breed who rely on their ingenuity and experience to survive this tough lifestyle. As the temperatures drop in Tanana, the tensions run high.

Season 3

The new season returns to Tanana, Alaska, as its people face new challenges and threats. After a dark and cold Alaskan winter, the "Yukon Men" emerge to find themselves under siege: a new road threatens to open the town to the outside world, dwindling resources and government bans challenge their hunter-gatherer lifestyle, and a double homicide shakes them to their core.

As the men come together to face these new obstacles, each is also challenged on a personal level. Stan Zurray, now has to figure out how one "retires" out here and decides to gamble on an old mine deep in the bush. His son Joey, who has long heard the tall tales of his father, must decide if he'll follow in his footsteps or blaze a new path. Charlie Wright, who's been the backbone of the town, finds himself in a turf war and looks for higher ground to escape those who'll "rape and pillage" the town when the road is paved.

At the end of the day, each man will be pushed to their limit. Pushed to decide: How far they will to go to live free? To be a Yukon Man?

Season 4

The Yukon men face new threats to their way of life. The changes can be frightening and cause some people to take extreme measures ... and even to reassess their remote lifestyle. Residents find themselves at odds over a trap line, fighting for their livelihood. But they also pull together as a community to battle a pack of wolves closing in on Tanana and to rescue a stranded villager cut off by the sudden breakup of the icy Yukon River.

The Yukon men are constantly reminded of their isolation. Another danger of their remote lifestyle hits home when a medical emergency strikes.

Season 5

This season, the villagers of Tanana face extinction as the largest wildfire in the country ravages the Alaskan wilderness and threatens to wipe the town from the map. When the smoke clears, the land is in ashes. The wildlife they depend on has fled. They face an uncertain future in a world more dangerous than ever. Each man and woman will be pushed to their limit as they fight to adapt to the harsh new landscape and reclaim their lives on the edge of the world.
